1970 - 1979 Classes Information

During the 1970s, enrollment in the College skyrocketed.  To cope, first-year enrollement was capped and the program, G.O.S.O. (Group Operations for System Orientation), was formed. Designed to help first year students get to know the college, it's a predecessor to the Little-Brother, Big-Brother program in the 80s, which became LB5Q, the largest student-run event in Canada.  Beyond classes, students attended Colour Nights, Stein Banquets, and Graduation banquets.  And many just spent time playing cards in the lounge.  On the more academic side, they started the Student-Businessmen's Seminar, a precurser to the wide range of networking events for current students. Revisit some of the history here.

We are currently looking for class representatives to help alumni reconnect.  If you are interested in organizing an activity for your former classmates during the All Years Reunion, let Shawna know.
