With Saskatchewan Spirit, The Edwards’ Centennial Citizenship Challenge Goes Out

100 is a powerful number.  For 100 years, Edwards School of Business has developed over 25,000 business professionals who have built vibrant and thriving nations.  And we’re looking forward to another 100 years of celebrating your achievements.

To celebrate a century of service and usher in the next one, Edwards is initiating a Centennial Citizenship Challenge. We know that you, our students, alumni, partners, and friends, are working hard to improve your communities, but now we want you to help us collect 100 examples for our centennial year.  Consider the ways you serve your community and share your stories with us.

After all, 100 certainly makes a difference.

      • THINK creatively about service
      • SERVE in honor of the Edwards' Centennial
      • Submit your service information. Please attach an image of your service if you have one and if possible, incorporate a sign about centennial. Signs can be handmade or you can print one out here

You can participate on your own, with friends or family, or as a workplace.  Tell us about something you’re already doing, or do something new.  Every action, large or small, strengthens our communities.

By participating, your act of service will be featured on our Centennial website to inspire others and you’ll be entered into the Centennial Challenge draw.  The winner will receive a Centennial prize package and a donation will be made on their behalf to the charity of their choice.

Edwards JDC West

Each year, students at the Edwards School of Business compete in JDC West. As part of the competition, they are encouraged to obtain as many volunteer hours and raise as many dollars as they can for up to 6 charities. This year, they are excited to work with Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan, Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon, the Royal University Hospital Founcation, The Friendship Inn, Junior Achievement Saskatchewan, and Parkinson Canada - Saskatchewan.
